Biography

Born on the wild west coast of Ireland and raised in the heart of heavy water, Josh caught his first wave at 2 and never looked back—charging cold slabs like Rileys and Aileen’s before most kids could tie their shoes. From swimming with sharks at 5 to chasing whales and perfect barrels with his dad, legendary ocean photographer George Karbus, Josh lives and breathes the ocean. At just 15, he's already a European champ, contest threat, and full-time frother with big dreams and even bigger airs. His style? Pure Polish power—deep bottom turns, massive carves, and a fearless approach to anything the Atlantic throws at him. Whether he’s hunting slabs, filming epic sessions, or standing up for ocean conservation, Josh is all in.
