Biography
Born on September 15, 2001, in Costa Rica, although he has spent much of his life in Biarritz. Born to a Brazilian mother and a French father, it was his father who introduced him to surfing at the age of two on a longboard, before he got his own board at the age of three. Growing up near the beach, Tiago surfed every day before and after school. Traveling with his father to Hawaii allowed him to ride the waves of the North Shore, where he developed an early love for barrels and big waves. Tiago quickly made a name for himself on the European circuit from a young age. Ranked among the best, he notably won the Caparica Surf Fest, earning the title of 2024 European Champion and qualifying for the Challenger Series.
